Yuzu（有时用小写字母表示）是一款已停止开发的用于模拟任天堂Switch的免费开源模拟器，采用C++编程语言开发。Yuzu于2018年1月14日宣布开发，[2][3]比任天堂Switch发布晚10个月。[4]

该模拟器由任天堂3DS模拟器Citra的开发人员制作，两个项目共享大量代码。最初，Yuzu只支持测试程序和自制软件。

2024年2月26日，任天堂美国公司对Yuzu开发组背后的法人代表Tropic Haze LLC提起诉讼。2024年3月4日，在Tropic Haze以240万美元的价格与任天堂美国公司达成和解后，Yuzu的开发和正式发行工作停止。[5][6]

开发历程

Yuzu使用名为Boxcat的网络服务来替代任天堂的BCAT动态内容网络。[7]这项功能后来因无法运行而被取消。根据计划，该功能最终将被允许使用从任天堂交换机转储的本地BCAT文件的功能所取代。[8]

Yuzu还提供了分辨率重缩功能，可模拟连接、非连接和超原生分辨率。在最初添加了对超原生分辨率的支持后，由于稳定性问题和在不同GPU供应商上的运行情况不一致等原因，该功能很快又被移除。[9][10]取消两年后，该功能终于以"Project A.R.T"为代号重新加入。[11]

2019年12月，Yuzu在其抢先体验版本中添加了一个实验性的Vulkan渲染器，并将其引入到主线版本中。[12]

2020年5月9日，Yuzu开发团队宣布了一项更新，其中包括代号为普罗米修斯的实验性多核CPU仿真功能。[13][14]

2020年11月，Yuzu的开发人员为模拟器添加了在线功能，但不久后又将其删除。[15][16]

2021年6月，Yuzu的抢先体验版本中添加了Fastmem支持功能。[17]

2021年7月，Yuzu完成了“哈迪斯计划”，该项目旨在重写着色器反编译器，从而提高模拟器的整体性能。[18]

在给PC Gamer的一份声明中，Yuzu的开发人员表示，他们对在Steam Deck上使用模拟器的潜在优化功能很感兴趣。[19]

2023年5月30日，Android版本发布。[20]

2024年3月4日，在代表Yuzu团队的法人Tropic Haze LLC与任天堂美国公司达成诉讼和解后，Yuzu和Citra模拟器的开发工作结束。[5]

回应

2018年10月，Kotaku发表了一篇文章，指出《超级马力欧 奥德赛》可以在Yuzu模拟器上游玩。文章作者对Yuzu模拟当时市面上主流游戏的能力表示担忧。[21]

PC Gamer指出，在游戏发布后不久，Yuzu模拟器能够运行《精灵宝可梦 Let's Go！皮卡丘／Let's Go！伊布》，尽管存在音频问题。[22]

2019年10月，Gizmodo发表了一篇文章，指出Yuzu能够以与实际游戏机硬件大致相当的帧率模拟一些游戏。[23]

自2021年以来，多家媒体报道称，Yuzu可以在Steam Deck上运行，从而可以在Steam Deck自带的SteamOS系统上玩任天堂Switch游戏。[24][25][26][27][28]

2021年10月9日，Kotaku发表了一篇报道，介绍了Yuzu和Ryujinx（另一款Switch模拟器）都能模拟并游玩《密特罗德 生存恐惧》的能力，[29]任天堂联系了该网站的编辑团队，要求修改文章，因为这篇文章被视为鼓励盗版。Kotaku对此作出回应，更新了文章，删除了被解读为鼓励盗版的语言，并就错误向读者道歉。不过，他们在一篇社论附录中坚称，他们认为模拟器是电子游戏保护工作的重要组成部分，他们对模拟器的报道并不等同于鼓励盗版游戏。[30]

在Yuzu能够在Steam Deck掌机上运行的消息公布后，YouTube上数段指导如何在Steam Deck上运行Yuzu的视频被删除。虽然不知道是谁下架了这些视频，但报道这一消息的媒体推测是任天堂主导的这一行动，因为他们过去曾对非官方内容创作者发出过DMCA下架通知。[31][32]

2023年8月23日，Denuvo公司宣布，他们已开发出"任天堂Switch反模拟器保护"（Nintendo Switch Emulator Protection），这是一种针对任天堂Switch游戏的全新数字版权管理解决方案，旨在允许开发者阻止用户通过Yuzu等模拟器进行游戏。[33][34][35]

2024年2月26日，任天堂美国公司对Yuzu团队背后的法人实体Tropic Haze LLC提起诉讼。[36]

2024年3月4日，Tropic Haze LLC以240万美元的价格与任天堂美国公司达成和解，Yuzu模拟器因此停止开发。[5]

后继软件

2024年3月11日，基于Yuzu源代码的后续分叉项目Suyu（发音为"sue-you"；该名称也是对任天堂诉讼行为的调侃[37]）成立。一位参与Suyu项目的贡献者说：“Suyu目前处于法律的灰色地带，我们正在努力摆脱这种状况，下一步有多种计划和可能性，事情仍在组织和计划之中。”[38]2024年3月21日，因DMCA投诉，该项目被GitLab网站移除。[39][40]移除通知指出其违反了反规避条款，并警告称该平台托管代码可能构成走私反规避设备的罪名。2024年4月，聊天平台Discord禁止了Suyu、另一个名为Sudachi的分叉软件及其主要开发者的账户和服务器。[41]
